DESCRIPTION
Housed in an abandoned temple at the foot of Mt. Shari,
one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan, this unique and
quiet accommodation has a total of 4 rooms.
It is located a 3-minute walk from Sattsuru Station the JR
Senmou Line, and has good access to trains. Enjoy the countryside in your own way.
It is located within one hour of Shiretoko National Park, Akan Mashu National Park, Abashiri Quasi-National Park,
Memanbetsu Airport, and Nakashibetsu Airport, making it a convenient relay point for touring the east of Hokkaido.
In summer, in addition to Mt. Shari, Mt. Rausu,
and Mt. Meakan, which are among the 100 famous mountains in Japan, low-mountain climbing such as Mt. Mokoto,
Mt. Mashu, and Mt. Nishibetsu, as well as trail running, are also attractive. Cycling, canoeing and SUP can also be done nearby.
In winter, you can go snow hiking and skiing in the
backcountry, and you can enjoy the winter scenery, including
drift ice, fog ice, and animals such as migratory birds and deer.
