① For reservations of 13 nights or more, please be sure to select "Deposit" and select "1" from the options. Reservations without a deposit will not be accepted.
* A deposit of 50,000 yen per reservation is required for guests booking 13 nights or more. If there is no damage or staining to the facilities or equipment after use, the full amount will be refunded. If there is any damage or staining, the amount will be refunded minus the actual cost of restoring the property to its original condition.
② Although the reservation calendar is open all days of the week, we do not accept reservations for check-ins on Wednesdays.
③ Please note that a cancellation fee will be charged 14 days prior to your arrival date.
④ We are unable to store luggage prior to your arrival. Thank you for your understanding.

■ Facility Overview
"Kayabe Stay House Shimaenaga" is located at the Royal City Kayabe Resort, nestled at the gentle foot of Mount Komagatake, a magnificent peak representing southern Hokkaido, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Uchiura Bay. Surrounded by lush forests of birch, rowan, and larch, typical northern trees, the property offers views of Mount Komagatake and the Pacific Ocean. You may encounter Hokkaido's unique birds and small animals such as red foxes, Hokkaido deer, and Hokkaido squirrels. With a golf course nearby, this property is also recommended for golf enthusiasts.
◎ Accommodation Plan Information
Limited to one group per day, the entire property can be reserved exclusively for up to four guests.
The accommodation rate is for the entire building, not per person.
The total nightly rate (including fees and consumption tax) will vary depending on the length of your stay.
・6-12 nights: ¥16,000/night (¥20,000 base rate, 20% discount)
・13-29 nights: ¥12,000/night (¥20,000 base rate, 40% discount)

・Check-in and check-out dates are set up to three months in advance. Please note that if you select a check-in date exactly three months in the future, you can only select a check-out date up to the following day.

・Two sets of towels and linens are provided. Guests are requested to wash and use these during their stay. Additionally, additional towels and linens are generally not accepted.
・Please separate your trash and dispose of it in the recycling bin in front of the shared salon. There will be no on-site staff to collect luggage.
- During snowfall, guests may be required to clear snow by themselves.

When making a reservation, please include the number of children sharing bedding. If you have children who will be sharing their beds, please do not include them in the reservation total. Please inform us by message after confirming your reservation.

- Name, age, gender, and address of all guests
- Phone number of the representative (contact number on the day)
- Whether or not you have children sharing their beds.
◎About the Room
The building is a two-story, 2LDK (total floor area: 123.76 sq m) apartment.
It is located in a quiet, green area near the outcourse and clubhouse of Shikabe Country Club. There is parking for two cars. There is an outdoor BBQ space (equipment rentals are not available).

The kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and basic cooking utensils, so you can enjoy cooking. Condiments are not provided; please bring your own.

Please use the Western-style rooms on the first and second floors for bedrooms.

● Supermarkets and Convenience Stores
There are supermarkets and convenience stores in the center of Shikabe Town (a 10-15 minute drive). Local products are also available at Shikabe Geyser Park Roadside Station.
◎ Check-in Procedure
Please check in at the Shikabe Share Salon at Royal City Shikabe Resort. You will be given a facility key upon check-in. Please note that you will not be admitted to the Shikabe Stay House Shimaenaga if you show up directly.

- Approximately 70 minutes by car from Hakodate Airport
- Approximately 35 minutes by car from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station on the Hokkaido Shinkansen
- Approximately 20 minutes on foot from Shikabe Station on the JR Hakodate Main Line
- Take the Hakodate Bus from Shikabe Station to the Shikabe Branch Office. Get off at the "Shikabe Resort Owners Salon" bus stop and walk for 9 minutes. * For convenient sightseeing and shopping, we recommend renting a car or driving your own car.

- Guests other than those who have made a reservation in advance are requested to refrain from staying overnight.
- Please thoroughly wash the provided tableware and cooking utensils and return them to their original locations after use.
- You are free to use the provided fixtures and electrical appliances, but please handle them with care.
- We are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, loss, or theft of personal belongings indoors or outdoors. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- Two sets of towels and linens are provided. Guests are requested to wash and use these during their stay. Additionally, additional towels and linens are not accepted as a general rule.

[Area Information]
The area around Shikabe, where "Shikabe Stay House Shimaenaga" is located, is rich in leisure activities, including Onuma Quasi-National Park, one of Japan's New Three Views; Mt. Komagatake; and Shikabe Onsen, known for its geysers. Facing the Pacific Ocean and Uchiura Bay, Shikabe is also a treasure trove of seafood. Seasonal delicacies are also a major attraction.
# Sightseeing in Hakodate from the naturally rich Shikabe
From "Shikabe Stay House Shimaenaga," downtown Hakodate is about an hour's drive away. Goryokaku Park, the site of the Battle of Hakodate and offering beautiful views from Goryokaku Tower, is a popular shopping spot in the Bay Area lined with red brick warehouses. The Motomachi area is lined with Western-style buildings and churches, including the former Hakodate Ward Public Hall, and Mount Hakodate, known for its beautiful night view. Hakodate's many attractions are within easy reach, allowing you to enjoy a day trip.
# Plenty of Activities in Onuma Quasi-National Park
Onuma Quasi-National Park is about a 20-minute drive away. This area offers beautiful views of Lake Onuma, Lake Konuma, Junsai Lake, and Mount Komagatake. A wide variety of activities are available, including canoeing, cycling, sightseeing boats, nature guides, and horseback riding. There's also a day-trip hot spring facility, so you can enjoy a full day here.
# Shikabe: The Fisheries Kingdom
Blessed with the rich fishing grounds of Uchiura Bay, Shikabe is one of the leading fishing towns in southern Hokkaido. Octopus, flounder, Atka mackerel, and scallops are landed year-round. Pollock fishing, the raw material for cod roe, is thriving, and Shikabe-produced cod roe is nationally renowned.
# Recommended Nearby Spots
- Mount Komagatake: An active volcano at 1,131 meters above sea level. It can be seen from Royal City Shikabe Resort. The mountain's appearance changes depending on the angle, so why not take a stroll around the area to enjoy the various views? The view from Shikabe Town is particularly beautiful.
- Hyotan Numa Park: Enjoy seasonal flowers along the well-maintained walking paths. (5-minute drive)
- Shikabe Park: A riverside park where you can enjoy the water, complete with a park golf course and heated pool. A great spot for cherry blossom viewing during cherry blossom season. (6-minute drive)
- Shikabe Geyser Park Roadside Station: A powerful geyser where boiling water over 100°C erupts 15 meters high every 10 minutes. Enjoy a foot bath.
- Scenic Shamisen Falls: A waterfall where the clear water cascading over the rocks is said to sound like the sound of a shamisen (Japanese lute). (10-minute drive)
- Shikabe River Salmon Run: From late October to early December, you can watch salmon swim upstream in the Shikabe River, which flows near the Shikabe Post Office. Signs mark the route. (7-minute drive)
- Tokiji River Salmon Fishing: Enjoy salmon fishing at the river mouth. Parking is limited, so please be mindful of your surroundings. (10-minute drive)
- Shirotai Ranch Observation Deck: A ranch where cattle graze. Enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Hakodate and the Ono Plain. At night, enjoy the "behind the scenes" night view. (30-minute drive)
- Kijihiki Plateau Panorama Observation Deck: A spot offering panoramic views of Mt. Hakodate, the Ono Plain, the Yokotsu Mountain Range, Funka Bay, Lake Onuma, and Mt. Komagatake. On clear days, you can even see Aomori Prefecture's Shimokita Peninsula, Muroran, and Mt. Yotei. (45-minute drive)
- Hakodate Nanae Snow Park: Suitable for beginners and advanced snowboarders, the park boasts a forest course where you can ski through frost-covered trees while overlooking Mt. Komagatake and Lake Onuma. (20-minute drive)

- Lucky Pierrot Nanaecho Main Branch (Nanaecho): Enjoy Hakodate's soul food, "Lucky Pierrot," without having to travel to Hakodate (30 minutes by car)
- Yutori Restaurant: The popular "Shrimp Tempura Nabeyaki Udon" (Pork Tempura Udon) topped with two large shrimp tempura pieces is a hearty and piping hot meal. A wide variety of other menu items are also available, including set meals, noodles, and rice bowls (5 minutes by car)
- Ota Shokudo & Sushimasa (Shikabe Town): The local delicacy, the "Shikabe Tarako Tendon," uses ingredients such as Shikabe-produced cod roe and sea bass. The cod roe tempura has an irresistible fluffy and crunchy texture. We also recommend the "Shikabe Tarako Ramen," featuring a salty soup with cod roe and special kelp noodles (10 minutes by car).
- O-Sushi (Shikabe Town): Their "Exquisite Sushi," featuring seasonal seafood and large toppings, is the restaurant's most popular (10 minutes by car).
- Taishu Shokudo Kikusui (Shikabe Town): Their popular Nayumen (cod roe and corn noodles) is a must-try. Try this innovative noodle dish, featuring noodles in a Chinese-style white sauce and topped with cod roe (10 minutes by car).
