About the Accommodation

【Entire Private Cottage | Private】

You will stay in the green-roofed cottage (Private) and also have access to the neighboring red-roofed Mashu Lake Youth Hostel main building (Shared).
The cottage is equipped with air conditioning, making it comfortable even during summer in Hokkaido.

※Showers are available in the large public bath area of the Mashu Lake Youth Hostel main building next to the cottage.
※Children sharing beds with parents stay free of charge.
※Additional heating fees may apply depending on the season.

・Up to 3 small dogs, 2 medium dogs, or 1 large dog allowed
・A fenced area will be prepared in the living room (see photos),
　and dogs are requested to stay within that space indoors.
・Proof of rabies vaccination and combination vaccine is required.
・Please take dogs outside for toilet breaks. Indoor pet toilets are not provided.
・Dogs are required to wear a belly band indoors (please bring your own).

　A spectacular hiking spot where you feel like standing on another planet.
　Around 5 hours round trip, beginner-friendly, with especially beautiful sunrise views.
■ Mount Io
　A powerful volcanic area where sulfur vents erupt from the earth beneath your feet.
　The Tsutsujigahara Nature Trail is also a must-visit.
