A family that has been growing rice, mushrooms, and vegetables as farmers for generations welcomes you to their inn in Higashijo-cho, Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
The quaint old house, which was built 130 years ago, still retains its original soot-bamboo ceiling and hearth. You can taste the wisdom and ingenuity of life that our ancestors have passed down to us.
You can experience a part of the culture of the peasants who lived there and their self-sufficient lifestyle in the rich nature where insects, wild birds, and mountain animals live together.

Meals
We have been raising rice, mushrooms, and vegetables as farmers for generations, and most of the ingredients for the meals we serve are homemade. In addition, we provide "country taste" such as river fish caught in the nearby river and wild boar caught in the mountains.

Experience
Agricultural experience (2,000 yen or more per person)
This is a farming experience based on the guest's request.
The experience includes harvesting vegetables and mushrooms in the fields, and taking care of goats and chickens (feeding them, etc.).
BBQ in the garden with the harvested food is also available.
Food culture experience <¥2,000~/per person>
You will have the opportunity to experience the food culture that has been handed down from generation to generation in the farmhouse (miso making, pickles, country sushi making, etc.).

Teishakukyo is an 18-kilometer-long canyon located in the middle of the Chugoku Mountains.

Xiong Bridge
This is the most popular sightseeing spot in Kami-Teishakyo.
It is a huge natural limestone bridge.

The town of Higashishiro in Shobara City, where Peasant Hermitage "Boku" is located, is a castle town that has prospered as a "kurogane koro" (a place to collect tatara iron). It is a castle town.

Apple orchards in the northern part of Dongcheng Town
