Hirata san's Homestay in rural Hiroshima

Jinseki Kogen Town is a rural among the Chugoku mountains with an altitude of 400 to 700 meters in the eastern part of Hiroshima Prefecture.
There are no stations, highways, supermarkets in our town, but there are so much delicious rice and vegetables thanks to the pure water and clear air from the mountains and the difference in temperature.

Settlement, which was designed by himself.
It has a spacious tatami space with a sense of openness and a corridor overlooking the garden, creating a very cozy living space.
His wife, who is a good cook, can experience a wide range of cooking, from country dishes using seasonal highland vegetables to bread making. (I also have experience as a teacher in a local bread class.)
On the back of the house is a handmade stone kiln and a space where you can enjoy a meal with a view of the countryside.
In the field just behind the house, you can harvest seasonal vegetables, and you can fully enjoy the life of Kamiishi Kogen Town.

When I go to the house of Hirata-san and her husband, who have a gentle smile, I feel at home as if I had come back to my grandpa's house for the first time.
