The Niomon Gate, said to have been built in the Muromachi Period, and the Gomado Hall, built in the late Edo Period, are designated as important cultural properties by Higashi-Hiroshima City, as are the two Yakushi Nyorai statues in the Yakushido Hall, which are the principal images.
