The best spot to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and heal your daily fatigue! You can enjoy the spectacular view of the stars and enjoy nature to the fullest.

Kita-Karuizawa is a tourist resort area with a view of the majestic Mt. Asama to the west and the foot of the mountain. The plateau, which is located at an altitude of 1,100 meters, has a refreshing climate with low humidity in summer, and is characterized by many direct sales of highland vegetables and a thriving dairy farm. You can also access scenic spots such as Karuizawa and Kusatsu Onsen in about 30 minutes by car, so you can enjoy it along the way.

Charcoal and equipment are available for free, so you only need to bring your own ingredients! It is also recommended to buy it at a highland vegetable direct sales store.

Pets are not allowed at this facility. House cleaning and business compensation fees will be charged for pets.
While we perform regular maintenance, as this cottage is located in the middle of nature, insects may enter the room. Thank you for your understanding.

Bringing dangerous items such as chemicals and explosives unrelated to leisure or daily life is prohibited.
Visitors not staying overnight are prohibited from using the facility. Anyone found with such items will be charged for lodging.
[Important] About the Climate in Tsumagoi Village
The temperature here is completely different from urban areas, comparable to that of Sapporo, Hokkaido, so please be sure to take precautions against the cold. If you are visiting from November to April, please make sure to pack warm clothing and prepare your car for snow (studless tires are essential). While snowfall per night is expected to be around 5-20cm, it averages around 30-40cm, and sometimes exceeds 50cm.
