DESCRIPTION
Oyado Shiba is located in Kofu-cho, a quiet area that retains the original landscape of Japan, a little distance from the touristy city of Takayama.
Kofu-cho is a historic place that flourished as the center of ancient Hida Province.
Next to the inn is the Otsuka Kofun, one of the largest keyhole-shaped burial mounds in Hida, and there are many other famous places in the surrounding area, such as the Ankoku-ji Sutra Repository, the only national treasure in Hida.
Oyado Shiba is surrounded by fields and farmlands, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the scenery of each season.
Oyado Shiba is a homestay-style accommodation.
