One building for rent! Ancient house from the Meiji

We offer you a "healing reward" where you can hide away a little from your hectic daily life, stretch your wings as you wish and feel at ease in an extraordinary space.
Please enjoy a lot of "healing" and "special time with your loved ones" in a special atmosphere that feels nostalgic and precious, in an old private house filled with the goodness of old Japanese harmony that Japanese people feel in their hearts.

[Rooms]
Overall facilities.
A 150-year-old old private house was renovated and opened in autumn 2022.
You can stay in a traditional Japanese-style house that used to be a liquor store.

There, you can relax and enjoy a happy time together in a space with a large earthen floor and a sunken hearth.

In our busy lives, it is not always easy to relax and enjoy conversation together.
Please take your time and enjoy your stay here.

As this is an old house, there are many gaps in the structure, and drafts and insects can enter. You may also hear the sound of creaking floors and fittings, but we hope you will experience staying in a building built using traditional construction methods from the early Meiji era. (Insecticide is available).

Although the property is located in a quiet residential area,The road in front of the house is busy,The road in front of the house is busy, so noise can be a problem at night.
Please be careful when entering and exiting the building.

[About the bedrooms and rooms.
On the ground floor there is an earthen floor, a kitchenette, a sunken hearth and three Japanese-style rooms.
There is also a Western-style room on the second floor with two beds.
Basically, futons are provided for the number of guests, but if you would like a bed, please let us know.

Please ask if you would like a bed. If you need one, you will be charged separately (1,500 yen per pair).


[About the bathrooms]

There is a mist sauna.
The walls are finished with cedar wood, so the smell of wood fills the room and soothes you.
The bathroom is semi-open-air, so you can enjoy a feeling of openness.
There is also lighting (Bluetooth) with speakers in the washroom, so you can bathe while listening to music.

Bath towels and face towels are provided in for the number of people (adults and infants).
Infants are charged separately.
500 yen per couple.

Extent of guest access.
The apartments are off-limits.

Consecutive nights
For guests staying for 2 nights and 3 days or more, please ask for a minimum of 2 persons.
(Please enquire if you are considering staying with just one other person.)
