"SHIO-YA" is a private rental accommodation located in the heart of Gujo Hachiman.
The name originates from the former place name "Shioya-machi."
The character "卌," which represents forty in old Japanese characters, was used to represent the number "shio" (salt).
This building is a renovated townhouse that was formerly used as a pharmacy, and it still retains traces of its original character.
The area surrounding the accommodation features streets that retain the atmosphere of a castle town, the clear waters of the Yoshida River, and traditional shops and restaurants.
Beyond sightseeing, you can enjoy morning strolls along the riverbank or conversations with locals.

* To prevent fire hazards, please do not leave the gas stove unattended while cooking, and do not place flammable materials near the stove.
* If the fire alarm activates, please check the cause and turn it off if there is no problem.
* Regarding Noise
* Please refrain from actions that may disturb neighbors, such as loud conversations or playing loud music.
Please be especially careful after 10 PM and cooperate in maintaining a quiet living environment.
