One of the six main Northeast festivals in Hamadori area of Fukushima prefecture. It is a traditional festival, which was originated from the trainings for Japanese Samurai (Japanese military caste) since Heian Period .The festival consist of various activities, such as horse racing with armour, Shinki Sodatsusen, where 500 warriors who are on horseback would fight for 40 shrine flags and Samurai horse march.
