[Property Features]

Head west from Takefu Station. After crossing the mountains and passing through a tunnel, you'll come across a village surrounded by mountains over 300 meters high. Beautiful rural scenery continues. This is the Hakusan-Sagaguchi area, a traditional rural landscape that has been selected as one of Japan's "100 Best Villages." The inn is located on a hill upstream of the river in the Hakusan area.
This sunny inn is a traditional farmhouse in the countryside. It was the first to offer farmstays in the area about 10 years ago. The owner, Hiroshi Inaba, is a leader with a deep love for the region. He began working on nature regeneration activities and farming methods that coexist with living creatures, and founded the "Stork Bringback Farming Methods Committee." He now has around 30 members, and together they produce safe, delicious rice.
Guests are encouraged to try farm work in the rice fields. There's a good chance you'll spot a stork. After all that hard work, the rice tastes even better. Enjoy your fill of their signature dishes.

[Carefully Designed Interior]
This over 50-year-old farmhouse is a gabled house with a wainscoting roof. The spacious, high-ceilinged earthen floor and entrance hall are impressive, and the living room also has a high ceiling, creating an open and airy feel. Certified as a traditional Fukui farmhouse.

[These types of people are welcome!]

International students and tourists:
Enjoy the traditional rural scenery, surrounded by mountains. Enjoy the unique agricultural experience and delicious rice you'd expect from a rice-growing region.
The warm smiles of the host couple also help you communicate beyond words.

Families:
We especially recommend the farming experience for families who've been living in the city for a long time. It'll also help teach your children about food.

Enjoy country-style home-cooked meals made with our signature Stork Rice and fresh, seasonal vegetables.

Students and groups in their 30s and 40s
Perfect for those interested in food, agriculture, the environment, and regional revitalization. We also recommend listening to the owner, Hiroshi, who is also the chairman of the "Stork Bring Back Farming Methods Committee," talk about this region and its agriculture.

Active people
This basin, surrounded by mountains at an altitude of around 300m, has been selected as one of Japan's "100 Best Villages." Natural springs and small, shallow reservoirs are scattered throughout. This area is home to rare wildlife, including the endangered Abe salamander. Enjoy hiking and strolling while savoring the traditional rural scenery.

[Experiences]
In addition to helping with rice farming, including planting and weeding, you can also try farm work like planting and harvesting watermelon seedlings.
You can also try cooking country cuisine using the vegetables you harvest.

[Meals]
We are proud of our rice, grown with mountain water. In particular, be sure to try our "Stork-Bringing Rice" Koshihikari, grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and Fukui's new brand, Ichihomare, grown using a farming method that attracts storks and is supported by a community-wide effort to create an environment where frogs, loaches, and small fish, which are food for storks, can survive.
You can also savor local country cuisine, such as kinpira (spicy stir-fried vegetables), fern with bean dressing, and gojiru (a type of miso soup), made with wild vegetables, fresh vegetables, and beans.
