・Hatokega-ura (30 minutes by car), it is a famous tourist attraction in Shimokita Peninsula.

The hostel is located near Hotokega-ura (仏ヶ浦) in the Sai Village, which is on the westernmost point of Shimokita Peninsula.
Even though the natural environment can be quite harsh, the wind and sea has created mysterious scenic spots which gives Hotokega-ura all its beauty and charm. Hotokega-ura (仏ヶ浦) is famous for its shark teeth looking rock stacks off the shore due to erosion.
What’s more, there are plenty of interesting attractions worth a visit on the Shimokita Peninsula, such as Oma City (the number one town for tuna in Japan) or Mount Osore (one of the 3 most important sacred sites in Japan). On top of these places there are nice restaurants too! We assure you will have a fantastic trip during your stay. We are looking forward to have you here! ;D

はちきれるほど食べたおいしい海鮮の数々
日本のこんなところに一生に一度来るかどうかの場所、青森県下北半島の佐井村にある民宿。青森県の津軽や南部にない魅力満載の下北半島にはたくさんの海の幸が。ここで食べたウニは、人生で食べたウニで一番美味しかったです。
ステイジャパンで、青森県内ではここのほかに三軒の民宿を回りました。どれも期待以上においしい食事の中、ここは海の幸はピカイチに美味しかったです。青森県の民宿は農家の生活体験型の民宿が多い中、ここはアットホームな旅館寄りな民宿。特にアクティビティがあるわけではありませんが、夕食のボリュームがコスパ抜群です！海の幸という言葉がふさわしいほど期待していいもの。品のある中にも、気さくで親しみのある女将さんと、他3人のお母さんたちがふるまう料理はどれも絶品でした。
部屋も設備も民宿としてはいたって普通なのですが、やはり夕食のクオリティを考えると、宿泊費はかなり安くも感じました。おそらく都会ではこんなにもおいしいもの味わえないと思うくらいいいものばかりですよ。近くの観光スポットである仏ヶ浦はぜひチェックイン前か、翌日チェックイン後に訪れて欲しい場所です。
