◎About the Accommodation Plan
The inn is limited to one group per day, with a maximum of 9 people, and can be rented out as a single building.
The room rate is the same for up to 3 persons, with an additional charge for each additional person from 4 persons.
Meals are not included in the room rate.

Admission to the lodging facilities is limited to those who have reserved lodging (guests whose names appear on the lodging roster).


About meals
- Guests who cook: You may use the on-site kitchen (seasonings and cooking oil are not provided).
- Convenience store: There is a convenience store (Family Mart) across the street.


BBQ equipment rental
A BBQ grill (gas), tongs, net, chairs, and table are available for rent for 5,000 yen per group, per use (tax included). Please let us know in a message if you would like to rent a set.


Please bring your own food and seasonings. You may use the tableware provided at the inn.


Please note that there are residences nearby, so we ask for your cooperation in closing the BBQ by 9:00 p.m.


◎About Aomori KURA-HAKU
Aomori KURA-HAKU opened in March 2020.
The theme of Aomori KURA-HAKU is "Tsugaru 100 years ago."
Aomori KURA-HAKU is an old farmhouse and warehouse built at the end of the Edo period on a site of about 1,000 tsubo (about 28 sqf). We are dreaming of creating a farm village theme park where anyone can stay and experience the atmosphere of Tsugaru as it was 100 years ago, and a simulated farm village life! Please experience Aomori KURA-HAKU.


First, let's start with KURA-HAKU
We have completed a guesthouse using a warehouse on the site. The exterior of the guesthouse has been preserved as it was in the past, and the interior is equipped with facilities for a comfortable stay. The guesthouse is limited to one group per day, and the entire building is reserved for private use, so you and your family or friends can enjoy your stay without any hesitation.


Tsugaru Shamisen LIVE in the living room
The living room has a high ceiling with a vaulted ceiling that extends to the second floor, creating a sense of openness. The living room has a sofa and a table, so please use it as a place for dining and chatting. If you move the table and sofa to the end of the room, you can also use it as a small event space. If you wish, we can arrange for a Tsugaru Shamisen performance. The sound of the Tsugaru shamisen live and up close is a powerful experience. Please come to Kuroishi, the birthplace of the Tsugaru Jongara Bushi, and experience the Tsugaru Shamisen in a warehouse as a souvenir of your visit. (Reservations required at least 3 days in advance.)


◎About the rooms
Aomori KURA-HAKU is a two-story lodging facility.
1st floor: living room, 1 bedroom (4 single beds + 1 cot), kitchen, 1 shower room, toilet (western style with hot-water washing toilet seat)
*The kitchen has a counter and chairs. You can use it for light meals or as a bar counter.

2nd floor: Bedroom 1 (4 futons)

Please let us know the number of guests in each bedroom on the 1st and 2nd floors when you make a reservation. Bedding and amenities will be provided for the number of guests staying in the room.


◎Where Aomori KURA-HAKU is located
Aomori KURA-HAKU is located on the outskirts of Kuroishi, approximately 2 km from Komise Street(こみせ通り) in the center of Kuroishi City. It is a 25-minute walk from the restaurant district. It is a bit far on foot, but a cab will take you in 5 minutes. It is a 7-minute drive (35 minutes on foot) from Kuroishi Station(黒石駅) on the Konan Railway (弘南鉄道).

●Places of interest within walking distance
- Higashi Park, famous for cherry blossoms: 2-minute walk from the Kuroishi Cherry Blossom Festival site.
- Apple Museum: 10-minute walk from the Aomori Apple Research Institute, where you can learn about the history of apples. In fall and early winter, the ivy that covers the building turns bright red, making it a great photo spot.


●Recommended restaurants
- Fujimikan 富士見館: Established in 1895, Fujimikan is a long-established authentic ryotei (Japanese-style restaurant). If you want to taste authentic Japanese cuisine using Aomori ingredients, this is the place to go. 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot from Aomori KURA-HAKU.
- SASSO NERO: Italian restaurant in a renovated warehouse. Just a short walk from Kuroishi City Hall. Recommended for lunch. 3 minutes by car or 16 minutes on foot from Aomori KURA-HAKU.
- Myouko 妙光: Kuroishi's specialty "Tsuyu(Soup) Yakisoba(Fried Noodle)" is here. There are many restaurants where you can eat tsuyu yakisoba, but the host recommends Myoko. 7 min. by car or 30 min. on foot from Aomori KURA-HAKU

For convenience of transportation, sightseeing, and dining, we recommend that you come by car. Free parking is available on site.
By car
- 10 minutes drive from Kuroishi IC on Tohoku Expressway
- 25 minutes drive from Hirosaki Station (30 minutes drive from Hirosaki Station)
- 30 minutes from Aomori Airport by car
- 40 minutes from Shin-Aomori Station by car


■Customers using the bus from the railroad and Shin-Aomori Station
- 7 minutes by car from Kuroishi Station (30 minutes by car from Hirosaki Station on the Konan Railway)
- Bus service is available from the south exit of Shin-Aomori Station to Kuroishi Station (70 minutes, 880 yen) *Kounan 弘南 Bus (http://www.konanbus.com/1411.html)


◎Please note
- Smoking is not permitted in the facility.
- Please bring your own pajamas.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please stay indoors after 9:00 p.m. as there are residences nearby.
- Please do not take any of the equipment inside the facility home with you.
- If there is any damage or defacement of the facility, we will charge you for the cost necessary to restore the facility to its original state.
- Fire is strictly prohibited inside the facility (except for the gas stove in the kitchen).
- The entrance to Aomori KURA-HAKU is narrow, so please slow down and enter carefully when driving in.
- Please separate your garbage.
- Please do not bring your own garbage.
