IIZUKA RYOKAN - traditional Japanese inn since 1914

IIZUKA Ryokan is an old-fashioned onsen ryokan in the Nuruyu onsen in Kuroishi city, located at the west foot of Mt. Hakkoda.

Nuruyu Onsen has been a popular hot spring resort since ancient times, and is still a calm style hot spring, dotted with "Kyakusha", which is used by "Toji" guests for lodging.

Find a 2-story wooden building that stands out in the nostalgic hot spring townscape. That is Iizuka Ryokan built in 1914. A kokeshi lantern at the entrance will welcome you.

# ABOUT MEALS
The room rate includes 2 meals, dinner and breakfast.
Dinner is a Japanese food set with local traditional dishes, mainly with Aomori beef yakiniku. Served in your room.
* The last start time of dinner is 19:00. Thank you for your cooperation.

For breakfast, we provide Japanese style breakfast with grilled fish and hot spring eggs. Breakfast is served in the salon.

# WATER AT IIZUKA RYOKAN
The water in this Ryokan is well water. It has a good reputation for being mellow and very delicious.

# ABOUT ROOMS
The room is an 8-tatami Japanese-style room that is just right for 2 or 3 people. Please spend a relaxing time in a traditional Japanese-style room.

For families and groups, we can also provide a room with 16 tatami mats. Please consult us when making a reservation.
* There is no bath / toilet in each room. Please use the public bath in this Ryokan and the shared toilet.

- Tsugaru Kokeshi Museum: 10 minutes walk
A kokeshi museum where you can see kokeshi throughout Japan. There is also a Kokeshi painting experience taught by craftsmen (Kokeshi craftsmen).
- Tsugaru Traditional Crafts Center : 10 minutes walk
You can buy souvenirs including traditional crafts from Tsugaru district in Aomori prefecture. You can also experience traditional crafts such as Tsugaru-nuri.
- Nakano Momijiyama : 20 minute walk
Famous spots of autumn leaves. It is full of many people during the autumn season.
