Nodaka is surrounded by fields, mountains, and rich nature.
The Kamigentakeshi Shrine is situated on the way to the inn.
Let yourself be charmed by the owner’s homemade food, made of Kiritanpo (grilled rice stick), Kazari maki-zushi (decorative sushi roll), oyaki (dumpling) or tofu.
●Rooms
There are two 11m² Japanese-style bedrooms (maximum 5 people).
Enjoy a relaxing moment in a room overlooking the garden or mountains.
In winter, we will heat your bedroom until your arrival, as it’s very cold during this season.
※There is a TV in the living room
●Meals
It is possible to eat the vegetables that you harvested for dinner.
Dinner is served between 18:00 and 20:00.
●Bath
Please use the public bathhouse next door.
Please consider bathing/showering before checking in, as there might not be enough time before dinner to go to the bathhouse. Thank you.
The nearest public bathhouse is located 3 minutes away by car. It’s called Nishiki Onsen - Fureai Plaza Kurion.

◆Local cuisine experience
Enjoy local food like Kiritanpo (grilled rice stick), Kazari maki-zushi (decorative sushi roll), oyaki (dumpling), or tofu.
Kiritanpo is a speciality of Akita. It takes about 30 minutes to prepare when made for 2 or 3 people.
◆Mochi pounding experience
Less and fewer people use a mortar and a pestle to pound mochi (rice paste) nowadays, even though it’s an important part of the Japanese culture.
This activity is a good opportunity to discover and experience mochi pounding!
◆Straw weaving experience
Japanese people use straws to create bags, decorations and other kinds of items. You too, try your hand at weaving and make a rope from straws!
◆Farming experience
Plant green onion, edamame and adzuki beans, eggplant etc. Possible also to harvest garlic.
◆During the harvest season for sansai (mountain vegetables), you can harvest fatsia sprouts, moso bamboo (commonly used in Chinese cuisine) and more.
You can also eat the vegetables that you picked for dinner or breakfast.
Fatsia sprouts are delicious when deep fried!
Please bring comfortable clothes.
We can lend you gloves and boots (we may not have your size, however).
