Sightseeing spots
Lake Tazawa (25 minutes by car)
Lake Tazawako, where the legend of Tatsuko still remains, is an almost circular lake with a circumference of 20 km and the deepest water in Japan. 2.3 m high statue of Tatsuko, built-in 1968, has become a symbol of Lake Tazawako.
Kakunodate (about 15 minutes by car)
Kakunodate, which still retains the atmosphere of a castle town, flourished as a castle town of the Satake family after the Ashina clan established the town in 1620. Kakunodate is also known as the "Little Kyoto of Michinoku" because of its many historical buildings such as samurai residences. The cherry blossoms in the spring and the autumn leaves in the fall are beautiful, and the scenery in the snow is also fantastic. It is a must-visit tourist spot.

A few words from the owner
Why did you start a homestay?
We started the farmhouse when people who came to experience farming began to stay at the inn, and we had a strong desire to have people spend their time relaxing and enjoying themselves like camping.
What would you like to say to your guests?
My husband, who was a carpenter, built this house by hand 24 years ago, and we accept only one group per day. I would like you to relax in your own way in the space where the rice field scenery of the countryside spreads out, and I hope you will stay here as another hometown.
