Kura Retreat Daikokuten is a project based in a 100-year-old traditional Japanese farmhouse on a five-acre property. The historic building has been renovated into a guesthouse and English school, uniquely blending traditional Japanese charm with modern comfort. Guests can enjoy local cuisine and participate in various cultural and outdoor activities.

During your stay, you may freely use the kura guesthouse.

A cozy and relaxing sleeping space ideal for couples, families, or small groups.

〈First Floor Lounge〉
A comfortable relaxation space featuring interior design with Japanese cedar wood. For larger groups, it can also be used as an additional sleeping area.

〈Bathroom〉
You may experience a rustic traditional outdoor toilet, or use the modern shower facilities in the main house along with a special wood-fired Japanese bath.

〈Shared Facilities〉
Toilets, showers, bath, and washbasins are located in the main house and are available for guest use.

〈Natural Environment〉
A tennis-court-sized permaculture garden, two tea fields, and five acres of cedar forest surround the property. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds freely and enjoy the peaceful nature of rural Japan.
