Shimokita Peninsula is the northernmost Japanese macaque habitat in the world. Japanese macaques can be seen from time to time off the road and near the village. The macaques are often seen as a nuisance by the farmers as they can damage the farm crops.
Although they call it a war between the monkeys and human, in fact, you can go hiking in the mountain where monkeys live and see them in the natural environment
At night, you get to enjoy the mouthwatering seafood freshly caught from the sea.
【About the room】
The guest house is located in a hidden spot and is barely accessible by public transportation. It is close to the spectacular Hotokega-ura and moutain Nuidouishi, where a lot of visitors come every year.
