[About Villagri Farm Shichiriwa]
Villa Grifarm Shichiriwa is a retreat-like facility consisting of two buildings that will open in the spring of 2021.
The buildings were designed by the world-renowned architects Keisuke Kawaguchi + K2-DESIGN, and the implementation design and construction were done by the famous Yamanashi-based architects' office, Atelier Iroha First-Class Architecture Office.

◎Where Villa Grifarm is located
Villa Grifarm is located in Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, on a precipitous plateau called Shichiriwa, which is 150 meters high and seven miles long (about 28 km). Shichiri-iwa is said to have been formed by the erosion of debris flow from the eruption of Mt. Yatsugatake by the Kamanashi and Shio rivers flowing to the west and east, respectively. The facility has a vast site of more than 14215 square meters and is surrounded by nature. The view of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps from the top of the unobstructed plateau is truly spectacular.

Shinpu Castle Ruins 5 minutes walk
The castle was built on the precipitous cliff of Shichiriwa to resist the invasion of the Oda and Tokugawa armies. Although it is said to be an unfinished castle that took less than a year from the time it was built to the time of its entry into the castle, its historical remains show that the castle was the culmination of the Takeda family's Koshu-style castle-building techniques. Today, the Fujitake Shrine, dedicated to Lord Katsuyori, is built near where the main circle used to be, and it is one of the best places to view cherry blossoms. In April, the Shinpu Fujimusha shrine holds a festival called "Oshinpu-san," which is known for the parade of portable shrines up 249 stone steps.
Cherry blossoms at Wanizuka, 15 minutes by car
This is a photogenic spot that has been used in dramas and movies. A magnificent single Edhigan cherry tree, estimated to be about 330 years old, with a trunk circumference of 3.6 meters and a height of 17 meters, blooms. On a clear day, the Yatsugatake Mountains can be seen together. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they are lit up and you can enjoy the fantastic night view.
