Namba, Osaka’s most famous shopping district, is accessible in only 8 minutes!
The nearest station (Kintetsu Imazato Station) is just a 8 minutes’ walk from the guest house, which is especially convenient for people travelling with many luggage.
Viva Sun is also great for travelers wishing to visit Kobe and Nara, as both cities can be reached from Kintetsu Imazato Station.

Open the pretty entrance door and discover a modern and colorful interior design that was created by the owner of the guest house himself.
Numerous amenities are provided including face and bath towels (one for each day).
There are 2 triple bunk beds on the 1st floor, and 3 triple bunk beds on the 2nd floor.
So it’s possible to accommodate as many as 15 people in total!

●Access
From Imazato Station (on the Kintetsu Osaka Line) go south, then walk west along the railway tracks. At the 2nd traffic light, walk south until you can see a small police station. Walk past the police station and the Lawson convenience store. Viva Sun is a little further on your left.
●Sightseeing places
The following places are all located on the Kintetsu line and so can be reached very easily!
①Dotonbori Area (Namba Station)
Going to the Dotonbori area, you will understand why Osaka is also known as the “kitchen of the world” or the city of “kuidaore” (act of eating until dropping)! There, you will be able to enjoy all of Osaka’s specialities including takoyaki, okonomiyaki, negiyaki and skewers, but also discover the places that made Dotonbori famous such as the giant crab sign and the Glico Man.
And since the area is within walking distance of the guest house, you can enjoy its atmosphere day and night!

②Nara Park (Nara Station)
Meet wild deers and visit the famous Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Grand Shrine in Nara!
Even though they can be found mostly in the park of Nara, about 1200 deers walk freely in the city. You can buy “deer crackers” to feed them, but be careful, they have a great appetite!
Nara Station can be reached in about 30 minutes by train, from Imazato Station.
You can also visit some of Japan’s most famous Cultural Assets like the Todai-ji Temple, Kofuku-ji Temple or Kasuga Grand Shrine and enjoy the rich history and culture of the country.

③Osaka (Kyocera) Dome (Dome-mae Station)
The Osaka Kyocera Dome is a venue for all kind of events from baseball games to concerts.
If you’re coming to Osaka to see a concert with friends, this guest house is perfect for you!

●In the neighborhood
The nearest convenience store is only 1 minute away by foot! It’s a Lawson convenience store, located north of the guest house.
There is also a pharmacy (“Akakabe”) a 3 minutes’ walk away.
