Shirakawa, the little village were is located Heiwashōkan Shirako, was built by Nagisa Yamao and Masao Hiyoshi, among others.
It is a village surrounded by abundant forests and clear water streams.
I've been doing organic (pesticide-free) home gardening for 30 years, and I’d be happy to guide you around Shirakawa during your stay!
Between a blue sea, transparent rivers and green mountains, the place is blessed with abundant and beautiful nature! I’d be delighted to share with you the beauties of Yakushima Island.
I’m looking forward to welcoming you at Heiwashōkan Shirako!
